The day dawned bright and warm on Saturday 12th May. The air was crisp, the sky was blue, and not a cloud could be seen.
It was a perfect day for a wedding, which was handy since it was my first time covering a wedding.
Yes, I was nervous, but mainly excited. This is what I have been preparing for for the past few months. I was ready.
I met the groom outside of the Registry Office and snapped a few photos of him greeting various guests.
The bridal car pulled up and the lovely bride stepped out for all to see.
After a few last minute adjustments, everyone was ready to begin!
The ceremony was lovely - laughs and tears all around. Especially when the groom dropped the ring.
After a few formal photos, we all headed outside for the group shots in the garden.
For a first wedding, I am pleased with the photos I captured, and I am so grateful for the bride and groom for giving me the opportunity to cover the day.
Hopefully this will be the first of many!
