Beautiful Wedding of The Wakefields

Oh what a glorious day for a wedding Saturday 28th August was! I had the joy of shooting Lauren & Matt's special day on the Bank Holiday weekend at Arnot Hill House and a private house reception. I was recommended to them by a mutual friend which I really appreciated and I gave it my best!

I am terrible at remembering faces, and when I arrived I panicked as I couldn't recognise the groom! I went over to the gathered group and asked someone and it was all good. Once I got over that initial nervousness I was in my element.

We waited for the bride and I got some candids of the guests and a few of the groomsmen.

Lauren arrived and she was such a gorgeous bride and I hate her for being so stunning! (Jokes)

The ceremony went well. All the "I Do's" in the right place!

After, we did the group portraits and mingled for a while, before the guests left and I spent a short time with the bride and groom alone.

I rejoined them at the private reception, at Lauren's mother's house. They had a gazebo up, and BBQ food, and Instax cameras, and all the smiles! And a cat called Coco who I included. She's the best.

The speeches by Lauren & Matt, the bridesmaids, and the best men were wonderful. The ladies gave very moving speeches, while the gents had everyone in stitches. After that it was time to party!

To the new Mr & Mrs Wakefield - I wish you all the joy for the future xx
